Job Seekers Can Explore Opportunities at Government Agencies at the Jax Authority Career on May 30
Jacksonville, Fla. (May 28, 2024) CareerSource Northeast Florida (CareerSource NEFL) is working with six government agencies to help them fill open positions at the Jax Authority Career Fair, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, May 30, at the Bethel Institution Multipurpose Center at 215 Bethel Baptist St. in Jacksonville.
Job seekers will have the opportunity to explore a variety of open positions currently available at the City of Jacksonville, the Jacksonville Transportation Authority (JTA), the Jacksonville Aviation Authority (JAA), JEA, JaxPort and the Duval County Public School System.
“We have a range of positions we’re actively hiring for, from engineers and project managers to bus operators and maintenance mechanics,” said Mary M. Smith, JTA Vice President of People and Culture. “As always, we’re happy to partner with CareerSource Northeast Florida. The organization serves as a huge support system in identifying potential candidates for our open positions.”
