Jennifer Lopez and her stepdaughter Violet Affleck were spotted spending some quality time together over the weekend amid the singer's reported troubled relationship with her husband, Ben Affleck.
Lopez and Affleck's eldest daughter, whom he shares with ex-wife Jennifer Garner, were seen walking arm-in-arm as they spent a day in Southampton, New York, on Sunday (July 14), with People sharing photos of the "On the Floor" singer and 18 year old with their arms around each other as they walked around. They reportedly also went to 75 Main restaurant where Violet's best friend Cassidey Fralin joined them.
"They both seem so happy to be spending this time together, and are just enjoying the moment," a source told the outlet, adding that Lopez and Violet "really enjoy each other's company."
For months, there has been speculation surrounding that status of Lopez and Affleck's marriage, two years after they finally tied the knot about two decades after they called off their first engagement. In May, Affleck was spotted without his wedding ring while Lopez "liked" a cryptic post hinting at relationship troubles. Conflicting reports have since stated that the couple are "not over yet" while others claim the pair have a "slim" chance of reconciling.
As for Violet, the teen has been making her mark and advocating for change. Earlier this month, she gave a rare speech on the importance of mask mandates after revealing how she contracted a "post-viral condition" in 2019.
