Do your kids love S’mores? They’ve been around for decades and as long as kids go camping, it seems like there will always be S’mores…chocolate, marshmallow and graham crackers…yum. But here’s a random fact about them. How did they get the name S’mores? The answer…the Girl Scouts. Seems that when they first became popular almost 100 years ago, they were called Campfire Graham Cracker Sandwiches. Well, some Girl Scouts thought that was kind of boring, and since they kept asking for more of them, they named them “Some Mores”…which over the years became “S’Mores.”
