Cat Burns has a knack for combining honest songwriting with strong melodic hooks and a style that lands somewhere between pop, R&B, and folk. The London-based artist had already released a pair of EPs before finding significant grassroots success on social media during the global pandemic with breakout songs like 2020's "Go" and 2021's "Free." A deal with RCA further bolstered her profile ahead of the 2022 EP Emotionally Unavailable, and the label ultimately issued her debut album, early twenties, in 2024.
