It's a patriotic Friday! Happy National Flag Day AND Army Birthday! National Flag Day goes all the way back to May of 1916 when President Woodrow Wilson declared June 14th Flag Day honoring the flag that was commemorated in 1777.
Today is also the birthday of the U.S. Army back in 1775 to fight against the British in the American Revolutionary War! The army plays a vital role in protecting the United States both domestically and abroad!
