If you happen to see any suspicious activity at the reservoir, especially at night when it is closed to visitors, please contact the Sheriff's Office.

If you live near the reservoir and happen to see or hear explosions in the future please contact the Sheriff's Office, even if the source is unknown.

There has been a recent uptick in scam calls to members of our community asking them to call MCSO and even using the names of current staff members.

Sgt Adam Schermerhorn from Marin County Sheriff's Office · 4 Mar

The scam is often associated with threats to purchase gift cards or send money electronically. Please know no law enforcement officer will ever call to threaten you or demand payment to avoid a warrant or a fine. There is no need to call MCSO to report this, unless you have been the victim of this type of scam. Our non-emergency number is 415-479-2311.
