The boy has perfect pitch; he needs reliable rhythm. He can face the facts, just not what will lie between them. Look him in the eyes; see him mask his indignation. Little professor, he will stick to his own schedule; honest to a fault with an eye for the essential. Look him in the eyes; talk to him like he's your equal. Just 'cause he steps out of line doesn't mean his mind is feeble.

Give his lack a name; diagnose without precaution; parents will protest, they are running out of options. Push him from outside; see the source of all his sadness. Little professor, launch into another lecture; follow the routine; dance about the architecture. Look him in the eyes; let him learn that you will listen.
