Natalie Portman and husband spotted house hunting in Australia
“Avengers” actress Natalie Portman was seen touring a bucolic Australian house outside Sydney recently, The Post has exclusively learned.
The 39-year-old and her husband, Benjamin Millepied, pulled up in a white Audi and stood in ankle-high grass as they peered at a blue-roofed brick, stone and wood modern house in a field.
The naturalistic home has four corridors that create an inner courtyard, and it has sweeping mountain views, photos show.
Their hourlong tour appeared to be guided by famed architect Glenn Marcus Murcutt, the only Australian to win the Pritzker Architecture Prize (2002).
His modern designs prioritize low impact on the environment and indoor-outdoor living. The house typifies his style, created with horizontal lines designed for the house to blend in with the environment.

The open courtyard at the center of the house and large sliding wooden and glass doors integrate outdoor life into the home. The slant in the roof allows air to flow through, exclusive photos show.
The house appears to have hardly any protection from the elements, but doors and windows are seamlessly integrated into the design with the ability to open or close the house as necessary.
Towering mountains create a staggering backdrop behind the house, which is surrounded by fields and trees.

“Layering and changeability: this is the key, the combination that is worked into most of my buildings. Occupying one of these buildings is like sailing a yacht; you modify and manipulate its form and skin, according to seasonal conditions and natural elements, and work with these to maximize the performance of the building,” said Murcutt in 1996.
The “Star Wars” actress wore white cut-off shorts, a black top, black sneakers, sunglasses and a ponytail on her trip with her husband, who wore black sweats, a blue T-shirt, white sneakers and sunglasses.
The real estate tour comes on the heels of rumors that Portman could be pregnant.
