Nearly halfway through the WNBA season, the Rookie of the Year award is Caitlin Clark’s to lose.
The Indiana Fever superstar is -3000 at FanDuel Sportsbook — a near lock — to win the award.Â
Los Angeles Sparks rookie Cameron Brink, who was the second-favorite in the race, suffered a torn ACL earlier this week.Â
The only real competition to Clark for the award is her rival, Angel Reese of the Chicago Sky, who is +1000.Â
Reese is the only other player with odds better than 120-1.
After a slow start to the season, Clark has helped turn her and the Fever’s season around.
Indiana opened the season 1-8, leaving many to question if Clark’s talents matched her popularity.
The Fever have since won five of their last seven, including a current three-game winning streak, bringing their record for the season to 6-10 as they head into Friday’s matchup against the Atlanta Dream.Â

Even after their dreadful start, if the playoffs ended today, the Fever would sneak in with the No. 8 seed.
Clark has been the biggest reason why the Fever are in playoff contention a year removed from finishing with the third-worst record in the WNBA.Â
The No. 1 overall draft pick is averaging 16.3 points, 5.5 rebounds and 6.2 assists on 39 percent shooting and 32.8 percent from deep.
