Birmingham Craft Brewery Named Best In Alabama: Report

BIRMINGHAM, AL — A national food and beverage website named Birmingham's Good People Brewing Co. as the best craft brewery in Alabama. The site Eat This, Not That recently released its report on the best breweries in each state.

Eat This, Not That used reviews and feedback from locals and tourists, as well as a look at some award-winning beers and breweries to put together the definitive list of the best spot to get a beer in every state.

Good People, which was Alabama's first craft brewery, established in 2008, was described in the rankings as "the perfect atmosphere for a cold beer right in the heart of Birmingham," and "an all-around fun place to hang out." One customer even noted they're not normally a beer drinker, but "found most of the beers to be really good."

Good People grew out of a homebrewing hobby shared by Auburn University graduates Jason Malone and Michael Sellers.
