Birmingham Restaurant Chosen As Best Chinese Takeout In Alabama

BIRMINGHAM, AL — Chinese food is one of the most popular ethnic cuisines in the U.S — a recent survey by the National Restaurant Association in the US shows that 36 percent of the country eats Chinese food at least once a month — and Alabama is not exception. So where is the state's best Chinese food?

Culinary website Eat This Not That recently ranked the best Chinese takeout in all 50 states, and a Birmingham restaurant was named tops in Alabama.

Great Wall Chinese Restaurant in Birmingham took the honors, with one reviewer on the website describing the food as "the best Chinese food in the South."

Great wall is located at 706 Valley Avenue and has been a staple in the Birmingham restaurant community for more than 30 years.
