Condos Slated For Former Planned Parenthood Property

A developer who purchased the former Planned Parenthood building on Highland Ave. plans to build condos on the property.

BIRMINGHAM, AL — A developer is eyeing plans to build condos on the former Planned Parenthood property on Highland Avenue in Birmingham. The Birmingham Business Journal reported that Gip Plott purchased the property Oct. 23 for $315,000.

Planned Parenthood Southeast relocated to an 11,000-square-foot facility at 1019 First Avenue North.

Plott told the BBJ that he plans to develop five to six high-end condominiums at the location, adding that some units "are already spoken for."
