Coronavirus In Alabama: Airlines Reduce BHM Flights

BIRMINGHAM, AL β€” With air travel down considerably due to coronavirus precautions, Southwest Airlines announced it is significantly reducing the number of flights in and out of the Birmingham-Shuttlesworth International Airport. The Birmingham Business Journal reported that Southwest Airlines has reduced its number of BHM flights by more than 40 percent.

Other airlines have gradually reduces their number of flights, but no exact numbers were given in the BBJ report.
