HOMEWOOD, AL - A proposal for new homes in Homewood's Edgewood neighborhood has been rejected by the Homewood Planning Commission.

The BBJ report said Homewood residents opposed the project due to its potential size and density, as well as the license to avoid some of the restrictions of the NPD ordinances the rezoning would allow. Even after the proposal was downsized, the commission still rejected the plan.
