Local Business Owners Take Home Top Honors and Awards

Steven and Tammy Johnson, owners of Mr. Appliance Over the Mountain in Birmingham, Alabama, earned the Mr. Appliance Franchisee of the Year Award at the 2017 Dwyer Group International Conference.

The Franchisee of the Year Award is the highest honor than can be earned by a franchisee in the Mr. Appliance network. The winning franchise must show consistent growth through proper training and management of the organization, consistent high sales volume and quality customer service.

The Johnsons joined Mr. Appliance in 2009 and became stars immediately, winning Rookie of the Year at Reunion in 2010 and achieving the company’s Top Gun recognition, which is awarded to franchise owners who achieve top sales and reach operation benchmarks, each year since. They are a former President’s Award Winner, Franchise of the Year, and multi-concept Franchise of the Year after opening a Top Gun Aire Serv in 2012.
