BIRMINGHAM, AL — Birmingham's Red Mountain Theatre Co. announced its latest production, which takes patrons through an immersive journey into the Roaring 20s.

Rather than the traditional experience of watching a performance on one stage, patrons will travel throughout the entire Arts Campus in groups, experience special pop-up performances from some of Birmingham’s favorite stars, and even be a part of the show. Immersive theater is a concept where the performers get to interact directly with audience members and immerse them into the performance.

“With everything we’ve experienced over the past year and a half, why not venture back out into an exciting social event and enjoy the Roaring Twenties as they should be,” Red Mountain Theatre Executive Director Keith Cromwell said. “The 1920’s was a time of glamour, music and above all, adventure. The immersive experience is intimate and interactive theatre, and we are honored to be able to bring that to our audience at a time when we all need a little joy in our lives, now more than ever.”

The entire experience will last roughly 90 minutes, and take place every Thursday, Friday and Saturday starting July 8, running until July 31.
