Here are the top three stories in Mountain Brook today:

1. The Magic City Poetry Festival began this week with a poetry reading by poet Jacqueline Trimble and a reception at The O'Neal Library. Events are taking place across the city throughout April. (AL.com)
2. The film "Jesus Revolution," which stars Mountain Brook High School graduate Anna Grace Barlow, has grossed $50 million at the box office since opening on Feb. 24. She plays the child of two physicians. (AL.com)
3. The Mountain Brook baseball team is hoping to repeat its victory last season, when they won the state championship against Pelham. Eleven players returned from last year's team. Regular season play is set to end next week with games against Vestavia Hills and Indian Springs.
