  1. "I never would have thought I would have done that, especially playing March Madness in Birmingham," said Lior Berman, a Mountain Brook High School graduate and now senior at Auburn, during his moment to shine in a match against Iowa on Thursday. As reported, he made "a highlight-worthy reverse layup off a backdoor cut down the baseline in the first half at Legacy Arena." (AL.com)
  2. A bill in the Alabama State Legislature would allow people with disabilities to enter into decision-making agreements rather than directly into a guardianship or conservatorship. It was introduced by Mountain Brook's David Faulkner. Known as The Colby Act, disabilities favor it over the current law which they say strips individuals of the ability to make their own decisions. 3. Visitors to the NCAA Basketball Tournament in the Magic City say they are impressed with how the Birmingham area has grown in recent years. Read what they had to say here! (ABC 3340)
