Here are the top four stories in Mountain Brook today:

  1. Demand in the real estate market in Mountain Brook outpaces the supply of available homes, according to Katie Crommelin, a realtor with Ray & Poynor. She said that a decrease in the number of sales closed last year compared to 2021 (404 single-family homes down to 357) should be attributed to the lack of inventory. (Village Living)
