Thompson QB Named Class 7A Back Of The Year

ALABASTER, AL - Although the Thompson Warriors fell short of their goal of winning a 7A state championship in 2017, several Warriors have received individual accolades in the off-season. One of Thompson's most decorated players is junior signal-caller Taulia Tagovailoa, who was this week named the 7A Back of the Year by the Alabama Sports Writers Association.

Tagovailoa is a three-star quarterback who has received offers from Alabama, Florida, Florida Atlantic, Hawaii, Nebraska, Oregon, Ole Miss and Oklahoma State, among other schools.
