🌱 Jerky Recall In Alabama + Fatal Crash In Leeds

Good day, neighbors! It's me again, Michael Seale, your host of the Trussville Daily. Let's get started here with the news of the day. A man died in a wreck on I-20 at the Leeds exit Monday. The victim has been identified as 62-year-old Charles Michael Renew of Harpersville. Also of note, jerky products have been recalled in eight states, including Alabama, due to a Listeria threat.   1. More than 1,600 pounds of ready-to-eat jerky products across Alabama and seven other states have been recalled because of Listeria concerns, the Department of Agriculture announced last week. (Alabama Patch)
