Banning Jr. 'Inspirational' To All Who Know Him: Star Student

Banning, California — Star Students are found in classrooms, on concert and theater stages and at debate lecterns, and out in the community doing good things to make life better for all of us.

Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize Star Students, and we’re working to tell the stories of these outstanding kids to their neighbors.

Why do you believe the star local student should be recognized?

Marquis is hearing impaired and has overcome this disability. He gets excellent grades in school. He’s a self-starter motivated individual. He’s a top-notch athlete and excels in every sport he has ever played, recently, there has been a story written about him in his baseball team, and this is not the only story that has been written about him, and how he overcomes all obstacles in his life, he sets goals, and he surpasses them. He has been quite an inspiration. He sets goals and he surpasses them. He has been quite an inspiration to his siblings and in fact the entire family we are so very proud of this young man.
