BEAUMONT, CA — Three days after a deadly Beaumont shooting rocked the community, police say they are working to determine a possible motive in the case. Bradley Wallace, 45, Tracy Shelby, 46, and Deborah Shelby, 68, all died following the Aug. 16 murder-suicide, according to police and coroner's officials.

Though much is still unknown in the case, police say Tracy Shelby and Bradley Wallace had been "involved in a long-term relationship" and lived together at the house on Crenshaw Street where the shooting happened.

Tracy's mother, Deborah, was visiting. She was the victim police first encountered, lying in the driveway, when they were called to the scene around 5:15 p.m. Friday.

"Deborah did not live with the couple but may have been at the home to assist her daughter," police said on Monday.

Police say Wallace shot both women before ultimately turning the gun on himself. Both he and Tracy Shelby were found inside the home.

The incident prompted a massive police response on Friday night, with the sheriff's SWAT team responding to help Beaumont police search the house following the shooting. When it was determined that there were no outstanding suspects, they cleared the scene.

"Officials are not looking for any additional suspects or co-conspirators at this time, however the Beaumont Police Department would ask that anyone familiar with these individuals and might have additional information in this case, contact Detective Lynn, of the Beaumont Police Department at 951-769-8500," police said.
