BEAUMONT, CA — It's almost time for the Cherry Festival to again take over Beaumont, as the annual event brings rides, concerts, a parade and more to town. This year, though, you won't see the lights as you head down Orange or Maple avenues to Stewart Park. Rather, the action will be located off Oak Valley Parkway at Noble Creek Park.

The 104th Annual Cherry Festival kicks off Thursday, May 30 at Noble Creek Regional Park, located at 390 Oak Valley Parkway. Festivities run through Sunday, June 2.

Single-day admission prices range from $10 to $18 per person. A four-day wristband costs between $30 and $54. Children 4 and under are free.

Admission grants access to the festival grounds and the live music lineup. Carnival tickets are sold separately.

More than a dozen bands are set to perform live over the four-day event, including the Red Hot Cholo Peppers and Locash.

The venue for the Cherry Festival isn't the only thing that's changed this year. Organizers announced a new policy for minors in attendance.

"Due to previous incidents at the Cherry Festival, the CFA is enforcing a strict chaperone policy," the Cherry Festival Association said on Instagram. "Guests aged 17 or younger must be accompanied by a chaperone at aged least 21 for venue entry."

One chaperone is required per ten youth and are expected to remain onsite with their guests.

What's more, guests may only carry in clear bags to the venue.

Something that will remain the same this year is the annual parade down Beaumont Avenue to 6th Street. The parade is slated to begin at 10:30 a.m. Saturday.

The festival hours are as follows:

  • Thursday : 5 p.m. – 10 p.m.
  • Friday : 5 p.m. – 11 p.m.
  • Saturday : 12 p.m. – 12 p.m.
  • Sunday : 12 p.m. – 9 p.m.
