This family oriented event was very memorable for all kids and their parents, giving some of the children their first opportunity to fish and actually catch a fish!

There was an outpouring of community support to make this happen which is reflective of this wonderful community and once again affirms the small town friendly atmosphere which historically has been so much a part of this valley. The Rotary Club cooked pancakes for everyone for breakfast, the Hemet Kiwanis Club BBQ’ed the hamburgers and hot dogs for lunch, Cal Fire station 25 was on hand with their fire truck, AMR was there for the kids, the Hemet Police Department had their vintage car on display, the Police Explorers and Grandfathers for Golf were helping the kids.
