"My Dad got me out to play golf when I was in High School. He said it was the toughest sport. Yeah sure, I thought but then I started playing the game. What I found was that golf is like life…it is so much like real life. In life you are going to mess up and golf teaches you that the goal is not to repeat that mistake but to do better.” He then went on to say, “In fact the brightest kid on campus, the Valedictorian of the senior class this year is on the team. That’s because he is smart!”

Several of his golf team have gotten Scholarships for golf and one student won a golf scholarship to Martinez Community College and this year Joseph Malone was awarded a golf scholarship to a college in Michigan.

The coach ended with this,” We have been so blessed to have access to the Golden Era Golf Course. We respect this course and because we have our home course back again our students can learn the game of golf.”
