Shop-With-A-Cop In Banning Brings Smiles, Holiday Cheer To Families
It's the most wonderful time of the year for these Banning police officers who help area kids shop for themselves and their families.
BANNING, CA — Banning Police and Walmart in Beaumont shared some holiday spirit Saturday as they took a select group of children out to "Shop With a Cop."
Approximately 40 children participated this year, all nominated by teachers and school district staff.
The annual event helps underserved youths shop for gifts for themselves and their families, according to department spokesperson Marcedes Cashmer.
