Big Bunny Giveaway and Summer Bunny Factory Experience
On June 4th, 2024 from 3-5 PM There will be a Big Bunny Giveaway.
The Bunny Factory is getting ready for its first official Big Bunny Giveaway! We will follow with a skills learning experience where you can help the Bunny Factory grow into an International Bunny Making organization! The Big Bunny Giveaway is sponsored in part by the City of Long Beach and is co-located with the Sister Cities of Long Beach celebration.

The Big Bunny Giveaway is co-located with the emerging Handmade Carnival.
All bunny collectors (you know who you are) can start or continue your current bunny factory collection of bunnies. Play handmade games, earn points and win a button or bunny! While supplies last. We plan on having at least 40 bunnies to be won!

Each bunny is different because we sew largely without patterns, and they are hand-made (with sewing machines) by our team of high school and older youth, currently all in Long Beach. There will be little differences in each bunny so that if you are a caring bunny mom-or-dad, you can know your bunny. You may never see these fabrics, logos and combinations on our bunnies again.
The Big Bunny Giveaway is hosted alongside The Sister Cities of Long Beach celebration which will have international food and cultural entertainment, including the Face Changer! Come, meet your Sister Cities of Long Beach.
SUMMER BUNNY FACTORY EXPERIENCE
Those aged 14-99 who want to learn Creative Problem Solving methods, and apply them to the problems of the Bunny Factory, can join us at the Makersville Makerspace in Shoreline village on Fridays between 2:30 and 5:30. Learn to make bunnies, and help us to figure out how we can grow to become an International Bunny Factory Experience, grassroots economic engine with the goal of economic inclusion. Then learn to write grants and start your own bunny factory, or book a bunny factory experience for your school, community or work!
