Making The Pike Stories Activity Book
Learn how to make an activity book starting with a word search.
Makersville and Makersville Services are making a community created activity book about the historic Long Beach Pike. We're makers, so we are learning how to do it as we go. As we learn, we are sharing what we learn with you and your children, in person and virtually. Then we will create a book about how to make different kinds of activity pages and align it to a theme. At the same time, we will create the activity book about the historic Pike... or historic Long Beach... with you and your family. You can then gift it for the holiday.

Hand-making your own Word Search
If you prefer to make your own word search layout, you will need to work it a little differently.
In this video we made a grid and edited the grid so we could put it onto a page. This we can provide to students to write in their word search.
Join Us at our Free Events!
These recordings are made at our studio during our free events where we work on activity books. We invite you to register for our classes, virtual and in person, so you can make your own activity book pages and include them with ours. If you'd like, you can work on your own theme!
