More Arrests Made In Home-Invasion Robberies: Police
A Vallejo man and a Fairfield woman are among four people now accused in a series of home-invasion robberies in the East Bay and Benicia.
LAFAYETTE, CA — Police said Friday that two more suspects were arrested and booked into the Martinez Detention Facility in connection with home-invasion robberies in Lafayette, Oakland and Benicia.
Immanuel Wells, 24, of Vallejo, and Mayaebone Tanyao, 21, of Fairfield were arrested Thursday morning on suspicion of possession of stolen property and conspiracy. Tanyao also was arrested on suspicion of child endangerment.
Two other suspects, Joseph Wells, 22, and Adama Diop, 20, both of Fairfield, were arrestedThursday at a Fairfield residence in the 500 block of Pacific Avenue in Fairfield in connection with two home invasion robberies in Lafayette on Oct. 31 and Nov. 26. Police said guns and property stolen from the robberies were seized at the residence.

Wells and Diop were booked in the Martinez Detention Facility under $1.5 million bail for residential burglary, kidnapping, false imprisonment, assault with a deadly weapon, robbery, and conspiracy.
Oakland police are investigating a home invasion robbery in Oakland on Oct. 29. A similar robbery occurred in Benicia on Nov. 10, Lafayette police said in a news release.

The Contra Costa County Sheriff's Office also is investigating the Oct. 31 robbery in Lafayette. The law enforcement agencies are developing similarities among the four cases, Lafayette police said.
