Kombucha On Tap Named Finalist in 12th Annual Stevie Awards for Women in Business

Kombucha On Tap was named a Finalist in the Startup of the Year category in the 12th annual Stevie® Awards for Women in Business, and will ultimately be a Gold, Silver, or Bronze Stevie Award winner in the program.

The Stevie Awards for Women in Business honor women executives, entrepreneurs, employees and the companies they run – worldwide. The Stevie Awards have been hailed as the world’s premier business awards.

Gold, Silver and Bronze Stevie Award winners will be announced during a gala event at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York on Friday, November 13. Nominated women executives and entrepreneurs from the U.S.A and several other countries are expected to attend. The event will be broadcast on Livestream via the Stevie Awards’ Facebook page from 7:30 pm ET, and the red carpet pre-show will air on the Stevie Awards’ Periscope from 6:00 pm ET.

More than 1,400 entries were submitted this year for consideration in more than 90 categories, including Executive of the Year, Entrepreneur of the Year, Company of the Year, Startup of the Year, Women Helping Women, and Women-Run Workplace of the Year. Kombucha On Tap is a Finalist in the Startup of the Year category.

Kombucha On Tap launched in May 2014 in Oceanside, CA. Deanne and Jared Gustafson distribute kegs of kombucha and coffee on tap throughout Southern California. Not only do they have a customer service driven approach, they focus on giving back while spreading wellness. They’ve helped a woman battling breast cancer, the homeless and Special Olympians. “We may be a startup company with a small budget, but we have big hearts and big smiles. We are proud to make a positive impact in our community and excited to be recognized as a finalist for a Stevie Award,” said VP and Co-founder Deanne Gustafson.

Finalists were chosen by more than 120 business professionals worldwide during preliminary judging. Members of five final judging committees will determine the Gold, Silver and Bronze Stevie Award placements from among the Finalists during final judging October 19-28.
