Cerritos Towne Center will host the School Spirit Showdown: Back to School Event on Saturday, August 24 from 12 to 3 p.m. Visitors can support local elementary schools while also accomplishing back-to-school shopping needs at the center. Shoppers who spend $50 or more between August 1 to August 24 and bring their receipts to the redemption table on August 24 can earn one vote for their favorite elementary school within the ABC Unified School District in Cerritos. Limit of one receipt per person, one vote per receipt. The elementary school with the most votes will win a $1,500 donation to help support school programming and needs.
