Kitty Won't Leave California Firefighter Who Rescued Her

This kitty found a new BFF in this Camp Fire firefighter.

PARADISE, CA -- A kitty from Paradise has found a new best friend in a firefighter who apparently rescued her. Ryan Coleman, of the Fairview Valley Fire Department, said he found the kitty amid the rubble created by the Camp Fire, the deadliest and most destructive wildfire in California history.

Coleman, who posted photos and a video of him interacting with the kitty, said she "just chilled on my neck and shoulders" as he walked around the devastation.

"Let's go for a walk," Coleman tells the kitty, that's sitting on his shoulder, in a video posted to Facebook. "We're just walking around."
