Cupertino Motorcyclist ID'd In Fatal Santa Clara Crash

The 30-year-old died early Tuesday on Stevens Creek Boulevard.

SANTA CLARA VALLEY, CA — A Cupertino motorcyclist who died in a collision with a truck in Santa Clara on Tuesday has been identified as 30-year-old Christopher Palmer, according to the Santa Clara County medical examiner's office.

A friend commented on Palmer's Facebook photo on Wednesday, saying he would never be forgotten and that Palmer would be "b-boying up in heaven."

The crash was reported at 1:03 a.m. Tuesday at Stevens Creek and Kiely boulevards in Santa Clara.

Police said Palmer was traveling west on Stevens Creek Boulevard when he collided with a pickup truck traveling south on Kiely Boulevard.

Palmer was pronounced dead at the scene. The truck's driver had minor injuries, was taken to a hospital and was later released, according to police.
