ELK GROVE, CA — Elk Grove Subaru surprised patients undergoing treatment at Shriners Children's Hospital of Northern California with donated blankets, patient care kits and handwritten messages of hope through a partnership with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS).

In addition to the 80 blankets and other supplies, Elk Grove Subaru also donated $7,500 to the LLS Urgent Need Pediatric, adolescent and Young Adult Fund which supports young blood cancer patients and their families who need financial assistance with non-medical related expenses including transportation and food.

The local Shriners Hospital offers care for orthopedics issues, burn injuries, rehabilitation and pediatric surgery. The care is offered without regard for a family’s ability to pay or insurance status.
