Ballots Sent To Escondido Registered Voters For Nov. 8 Election

ESCONDIDO, CA — Ballots have been sent to registered voters in Escondido and across San Diego County for the Nov. 8 General Election, the San Diego Registrar of Voters announced.

Mail ballots were sent to 1.9 million registered voters in the county, according to the Registrar of Voters. Voters can expect to receive their ballot this week, but some may have received them as early as Saturday, Oct. 8.

Ballots can be returned through the mail or dropped off at any of the Registrar of Voters' official ballot drop box locations through Election Day, including locations at the Escondido Public Library, HHSA North Inland Live Well Center, Major Market, Oakmont of Escondido Hills, Rincon del Diablo Municipal Water District and East Valley Community Center.

No postage is necessary, but voters need to sign and date the return ballot envelope. Voters who return their ballot through the U.S. Postal Service can track it by signing up for "Where's My Ballot?"

Beginning this week, voters can also vote at the Registrar of Voters office in Kearny Mesa. The office is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Starting Saturday, Oct. 29, 39 vote centers will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. Then starting Saturday, Nov. 5, more than 200 vote centers will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. All vote center locations will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Election Day, Nov. 8.
