​Driver Exposes Himself To Multiple Women In Escondido: Police

ESCONDIDO, CA — A man exposed himself to several women while seated in his vehicle in Escondido, authorities said.

The incidents happened May 5-11 on Cranston Drive and South Escondido Boulevard, according to the Escondido Police Department.

"The suspect drove alongside the unsuspecting women and, after making a lewd comment, directed the women to his indecent acts," Lt. Ryan Hicks said,

The suspect was described as a heavyset white or Hispanic man with a round face and facial hair. He was seen driving an older-model gray or black Volvo station wagon.

"The Escondido Police Department encourages the public to avoid responding to or approaching men trying to get the attention of young women or children," Hicks said. "If a lewd act is witnessed, do not confront the suspect. Instead, immediately contact the Escondido Police Department and report details of the crime."
