Drug Take Back Day: Where To Drop Off Unwanted Medication In Escondido

ESCONDIDO, CA — Are you looking to get rid of expired or unwanted prescription drugs?

National Prescription Drug Take Back Day is Saturday, giving Escondido residents an opportunity to dispose of medications safely before they end up in the wrong hands.

The Drug Enforcement Administration and local law enforcement agencies are hosting drop-off events from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. across San Diego County.

The service is free and anonymous. Needles and sharps won't be accepted.
