FRESNO, CA — Spanning generations of fans, Lynyrd Skynyrd is continuing their farewell tour in 2020 and this is your chance to see these rock and roll legends in Fresno. Buy tickets now to the April 18 performance at the Save Mart Center. The second leg of their North American tour picks up again in Savannah on March 7, with final tour dates still to be announced.

Getting their start in the early seventies, Lynyrd Skynyrd has a timeless rock and blues style that never grows old. From the release of their first album in 1973, the band has picked up a following of fans that spans the world. With hits such as “Free Bird” and “What’s Your Name,” Lynyrd Skynyrd was added by Rolling Stone in 2004 to the list of 100 Greatest Artists. Their signature song, “Sweet Home Alabama,” is still one of radios most requested classic rock songs.

The group was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2004 and after producing 14 studio albums and 6 live albums has just released “Lynyrd Skynyrd: Last of the Street Survivors Farewell Tour Lyve!” The album highlights their tour performance in Jacksonville, their hometown, and includes hit songs such as “Red White and Blue” and “Travelin’ Man.”

Lynyrd Skynyrd’s goodbye tour has been a long one. According to lead vocalist Johnny Van Zant it’s taking a while to say goodbye and thanks all their fans — “Hey, we want to hit every place we've ever played and every place we didn't play before we say goodbye.”

Out on tour is original band member on lead guitar, Gary Rossington. Joining him are Van Zant, Rickey Medlocke, Michael Cartellone, Peter Keys, Mark “Sparky” Matejka, and Keith Christopher.
