Driver, Passenger Arrested After Chase Ends In San Gabriel Valley

The two, including the passenger possibly wanted for murder, surrendered Tuesday morning in Azusa area, CHP said.

AZUSA, CA — A motorist who led authorities on a chase Tuesday surrendered along with a passenger in the Azusa area.

The passenger in the vehicle may have been wanted on suspicion of murder, according to reports from the scene.

The chase ended about 6:20 a.m. at Foothill Boulevard and San Gabriel Avenue, where the driver and passenger were taken into custody.

Authorities had chased the car on the Foothill (210) Freeway before it exited onto surface streets, according to the California Highway Patrol.
