Emanate Health Foundation to Host Annual Light Up a Life, Dec. 2

Event to recognize Hospice Volunteers and allow guests to celebrate the life of a loved one with a donation in their name

COVINA, Calif. — A time-honored tradition that continues despite the pandemic, Emanate Health Foundation will host its annual Light Up a Life and Tree-Lighting Event virtually, Dec. 2, at 6 p.m. to pay tribute to the lives of family and friends. To help keep the community safe and healthy, participants can click on emanatehealth.org/LUAL that evening to watch the program.

“While the last 18 months have been a challenge for everyone, let’s use the holiday season this year to remember and honor those special people who shared special moments that will always be ingrained in our hearts and minds,” said Gilda Dominguez, MS, CCC-SLP, CSSGB, Director of Hospice.

In addition to the Hospice Tree Lighting festivities, this year’s Light Up a Life event will recognize Emanate Health Hospice Volunteers who serve collectively as the 2021 Hospice Honoree. These volunteers give of themselves to provide comfort to families and their loved ones at the end of life. Their stories promise to be uplifting and inspiring.
