GLENDORA, CA — A three-day closure of the Foothill Boulevard and Grand Avenue intersection will now begin one day early to get ahead of the rain forecast for the region, Glendora officials said.

The closure will now begin on Sunday at 5 a.m. and end on Wednesday. The closure is part of construction work for the Foothill Gold Line Project, which will extend Los Angeles Metro's L Line from Glendora to Pomona.

The closure was supposed to be Monday to Friday, but rain will hit the region starting Wednesday, officials said.
