GLENDORA, CA — The Citrus Valley Association of Realtors will host a free COVID-19 vaccine clinic Tuesday for any resident as young as 12 years old.

The clinic will use the Pfizer vaccine, and a follow-up appointment to get the second dose will be scheduled for Sept. 7, according to the realty association. Advanced registration for the clinic can be made online, and walk-ins are also welcomed.

Studies have shown the Pfizer vaccine is highly effective in preventing severe symptoms from developing in someone who has been fully vaccinated, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Preliminary research into the Pfizer vaccine's efficacy have shown it can protect against the delta variant of the virus, which has driven a surge of cases in Los Angeles County and across California.
