Gas Prices Fall Again In Glendora

Gas prices drop again, as they have daily since June began. Where do you stop to fill up across San Gabriel Valley and southern California?

GLENDORA, CA — The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County dropped Thursday for the 17th consecutive day, decreasing six-tenths of a cent to $3.699.

The average price has dropped 6.2 cents over the past 17 days, including six-tenths of a cent on Wednesday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. The streak of decreases is the longest since a 27-day streak from Nov. 25-Dec. 21.

The average price is 3.9 cents less than one week ago and 4.9 cents lower than one month ago, but 72.1 cents higher than one year ago. It has risen 54.9 cents since the start of the year.

The Orange County average price dropped Thursday for 12th consecutive day and 18th time in the past 19 days, decreasing 1.1 cents to $3.655. It has dropped 7.1 cents over the past 19 days, including nine-tenths of a cent on Wednesday.

The Orange County average price is 4 cents less than one week ago and 6.1 cents lower than one month ago, but 70.5 cents higher than one year ago. It has risen 53.9 cents since the start of the year.
