Grateful Patients Can Honor Their Caregiver at Emanate Health
Caregivers can range from a doctor to a volunteer and anybody in between who makes a significant impact on a patient or their family
COVINA, Calif. — While most people might think of a doctor or nurse, a caregiver can wear different hats and serve in a variety of roles. One thing is certain; a caregiver does their job with “love, compassion and selflessness.”
Through the “Honor Your Caregiver” program, grateful patients or family members can share their thoughts about a caregiver who played a significant part in their family’s lives. It’s also a great way to simply say thanks to these unsung hospital heroes.
With any contribution, the Emanate Health Foundation will share a letter with your kind words, give them a custom-crafted “Caregiver Honoree” lapel pin to proudly wear and a personalized “Caregiver Honoree” certificate to display. The amount of your gift will not be disclosed.

The appeal campaign takes place during May which coincides with National Nurses Week and National Hospital Week, and focuses attention on the work of caregivers during the pandemic.
“For the last 14 months, health care systems have been turned upside down by the COVID-19 pandemic,” said Rob Curry, Emanate Health Chief Executive Officer. “Doctors, nurses and caregivers all have made significant sacrifices in caring for all patients. We can’t thank them enough for their humanity, love and compassion during a very difficult time in our nation’s history.”

Caregivers may include doctors, nurses, technicians, therapists, admitting representatives, housekeeping, maintenance, volunteers, a board member or anybody else who helped a patient feel comfortable and loved in their time of need.
