Jennifer Lawrence Tops Forbes List of Highest Paid Actresses

The Hunger Games franchise is making Lawrence very wealthy.

Thanks to her starring role in the blockbuster “Hunger Games” film series, Jennifer Lawrence topped Forbes magazine’s list released today of the world’s highest-paid actresses.

Lawrence raked in $52 million this year, according to the magazine, which noted that she also collects a nice paycheck for her sponsorship contract with Dior. Her earnings topped those of last year’s top-paid actress, Sandra Bullock, who collected $51 million.

Scarlett Johansson, powered by her superhero turn in “Avengers: Age of Ultron,” landed second on the list with $35.5 million. She also has endorsement deals with Dolce & Gabbana and Sodastream, according to the magazine.

“Bridesmaids” and “Mike & Molly” star Melissa McCarthy ranked third on Forbes’ list, earning $23 million. Chinese actress/singer Bingbing Fan was the only non-American to make the list, placing fourth with $21 million in earnings. Newlywed Jennifer Aniston placed fifth, earning $16.5 million.

Rounding out the top 10 were Julia Roberts ($16 million); Angelina Jolie ($15 million); Reese Witherspoon ($15 million); Anne Hathaway ($12 million); and Kristen Stewart ($12 million).

Bullock fell to 13th place on this year’s list, but she still banked $8 million.
