Man Arrested In Connection To Stolen Car: Glendora Police

Authorities said the car was traveling at a high rate of speed and on the wrong side of the road.

GLENDORA, CA — A man was arrested Saturday in connection to a stolen car in Glendora, police said.

The Glendora Police Department posted on its Facebook page that an officer spotted a stolen vehicle driving in the 700 block of East Route 66 on Saturday around 4:50 p.m. The car was speeding on the wrong side of the road.

The officer attempted to pull the car over, and the driver ended up crashing into a parked car near Route 66 and Glenwood Avenue, according to Glendora Police.

The driver fled from the scene on foot, and the officer chased after him, police said. A man was arrested and later identified as Eddie Valdez. His age and city of residence were not immediately available from the department.

Valdez was booked on suspicion of evading, hit and run and grand theft auto, police said.
