A status alert of yellow was issued for residents living the Colby fire impact area.

GLENDORA, CA - As most of Southern California dealt with rain on Sunday, an alert status of ”Yellow” was issued for Glendora residents living in the Colby fire impact area.

“In the first hour of the storm, we had a pretty good down pour on the north end of town,” the city wrote on Facebook. “No significant issues.“

According to the city, there is a lot of water on Sierra Madre in the area of Hicrest (west of Barranca). Residents are advised to use caution while driving across this area until the water drains.
