Suspected Glendora Bank Robber Arrested In Highland: Report

A San Bernardino County man is suspected of robbing at least four banks in Southern California, the San Gabriel Valley Tribune reported.

HIGHLAND, CA — A 26-year-old man from Highland was arrested Tuesday in connection to a series of bank robberies that occurred across Southern California, including in Glendora, the San Gabriel Valley Tribune reported.

Eric Michael Villagran was arrested on suspicion of robbery by members from the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigations. Officials believe Villagran might be a robber known as the "Cartel Bandit," who has robbed banks in Glendora, Palm Springs, Victorville and Yucaipa, according to the Valley Tribune.

Villagran is currently being held without bail, according to the sheriff's department. A court date has not yet been scheduled.
