Updated Schedule: Free COVID-19 Testing In Glendora

Testing is available in the back parking lot of the Crowther Teen & Family Center in Glendora.

GLENDORA, CA —The City of Glendora has updated its schedule for free COVID-19 testing at the Crowther Teen & Family Center.

Testing is available in the back parking lot of the center, which is located at 241 W. Dawson Avenue in Glendora. Pre-registration is required. To sign up, click here.

  • Wednesday, Nov. 10
  • Thursday, Nov. 18
  • Tuesday, Nov. 23
  • Thursday, Dec. 2n
  • Saturday, Dec. 11
  • Starting the week of Dec 13 testing 2 days a week
  • Staring the week of Jan testing 3 days a week

According to the city, EIS Consulting has partnered with Breakthrough Genomics, Nursing Infusion Centers of America, and Pacific Horizon Medical Center to provide testing to children.

The lab will be administering the SalivaDirect test that was developed at Yale School of Public Health and is currently used by the NBA as well as many other organizations. A saliva sample will be collected for analysis.

This will then be processed using a Real-Time RT-PCR test method, which is the gold standard for COVID testing, city officials said. A Yale study demonstrates that this method is more sensitive than the nasopharyngeal swab.
